ABOUT COTTAGE BY THE LOCH

A magical spot surrounded by wildlife

The cottage sleeps 8 - 10 guests in four first floor bedrooms. Three double bedrooms (2 King, 1 double) and a bunk room. The bunk room includes an Ikea bunk bed and an Ikea Hemnes daybed which serves as a sofa / single bed or can be unfolded into a king size bed. A travel cot is available.

There is a kitchen breakfast room, living space with dining area and sitting area and a snug / drawing room with log burner.

Two bathrooms and a boot room. A new bath / shower room has been installed in 2020.

There are two acres of gardens surrounding the cottage with direct private access onto the beach from the house.

Cottage by the Loch is an inviting, whimsical cottage where the beauty of the Scottish coastline can be viewed from your bed. But it won't be everyone's cup of tea; its not minimalist or state of the art. The cottage has been owned by the same family for almost 100 years and has been well loved. It is still home to many well loved books and items which can be enjoyed by all and has the ambience of a home from home.
